Enjoy this beautiful cozy one bedroom condo located .3 mile to the entrance of Beech Mountain Resort for skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and everything else Beech Mountain has to offer. This is a first floor condo, easy one flight of steps access. Seasonal mountain views within walking distance (10 minutes) to the entrance to Beech Mountain Resort and/or a very short drive (.3 mile). This 600 square foot condo has been recently updated and completely remodeled. SMALL PETS ACCEPTED. In the bedroom there are two queen beds and in the living area there are two twin sleeper sofas. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This condo includes two smart TVs with cable channels, fast WiFi, microwave, toaster, Kuerig coffee maker, pots/pans, refrigerator, etc. The condo is located an easy 10 minute walk to the ski resort (approximately 1/3 mile walking distance). We are also located near the Emerald Outback trails for hiking or biking. The Overlook Barn wedding venue is less than 3 miles away. 17 minutes to Banner Elk and 43 minutes to Boone. In the High Country you will find something to do in every season! Mountain biking, rafting, hiking, fishing, skiing, snow boarding, tubing and bob sledding on the new Alpine Coaster in Banner Elk. Some area attractions include: Banner Elk Winery, Alpine Hill Farm, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Appalachian State University in Boone, Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, the Overlook Barn, the Original Mast General Store in Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, Roan Mountain, etc. The majority of homes and condos are not equipped with AC. Usually the mild days and cool nights in summer up here just don't justify the need. Opening windows and turning on fans is enough to cool the space. Please note that in the winter there may be snow/sleet/rain so you will need to know home to drive in these conditions (possibly with four wheel drive or snow chains) and use caution on icy, snowy and leaf covered steps. Inquire about one night stays.
